Cute Easter idea

How cute is this, very similar to the You've been Booed but with Eggs.  I found this on one of my favorite sites How Does She she included this free printable site http://www.ishareprintables.com where you can print out the sign to leave on the door.  On this site you will see pics of someones house being "egged" you can leave little notes inside the plastic eggs and candy and scatter them all over their yard..stick the sign on the door, ring the doorbell and run.  The kids will have a Blast running around collecting surprise eggs.  Another idea is to leave an Easter basket filled with eggs at the door which is cute but I just love the idea of the kids opening the door and seeing lots of eggs in their front yard and running around collecting all the eggs :)

Who is your Savior?

March 27, 2011 will be a date that my husband, I, and our daughter Madi will always remember.  Madi from early on has had a heart for missions, love for others, and a desire to know about Jesus.  We as parents are blessed on this earth to raise such a special girl and it is our job as parents to guide her in any way to know our Savior.  The glory is His, He has been drawing Madi closer year by year, month by month, day by day.  One evening she asked Daniel and I, "How do I know Jesus lives in my heart"?  A moment a parent prays for and waits for...we explained it to her and asked her what she believed and she then said "How can I ask Him into my heart"?..so Daniel then led her in a prayer. Ok, can I say the tear gates opened right on up for me.  How sweet.  Shortly after we scheduled her baptism date to share with others the decision she has made.  We give thanks and praise to God for this huge step Madi has taken in her life.

Painted Egg

This was just for fun.  I do not sell these, but this was so much fun and very therapeutic.  This was done on a crafting day with my dear friend.  Its a lot more fun doing projects with a friend!  You should try it one day if you have not done so. My hubby cut this out of wood and I just painted it and hung it on wire and added a bow.
If you do want cute door hangers or cute frames I do have a very talented friend who can paint so beautifully, you can order from The Robyn's Nest, you will see her blog under my favorites.

Easter Garden Flag

He is Risen garden flag. Check out the Lillipad on facebook to see some other garden flag options.  Don't you just love Spring, sunny weather, flip flops, picnics, trips to the beach/lake, and lets not forget the most important Easter.  The reason you and I are forgiven, our Savior Jesus Christ.

Ruffle Flower

My new favorite shirt for a girly girl. The flower can be done any color.  I can also just do a flower on the shoulder/chest area with no stem. Im actually thinking of making an adult version of this with either a plain center to the flower or pearls. But as for projects for myself, well those will have to wait till I am done with my spring orders. Been busy busy busy, which is a blessing.

Sweet Baby Cakes

I had a sweet friend order this for a baby shower.  I just love these colors together, they are so bright and cheerful.  Of course she got the gift to match the shower theme, i hope the mother to be enjoys it as much as I do.  I can't wait to see pictures from this shower, I bet it will be beautiful.  I think I see a lot of this color combo coming up for a summer line!

Sweet Slumber

I kept telling Lilli to please go to sleep b/c she kept getting up tonight.  I then told her over and over you have to stop coming in my room you need to stay in your bed and sleep...Well she listened to half of that comment...She stopped coming in the room, but this is how I found her.  I about stepped on her, it's good thing I looked down.  I just had to step over her and run and get a camera to take a picture (one for a keepsake and to laugh at with her one day but also to show Daniel, who is sound asleep).  She looked so sweet and honestly looked pretty comfy, I hated to move her.  Well I did, I carried her to bed and  again closed my door and once again opened the door and here she is again by the door.  It's moments like this that just make you laugh.  I love being a parent.

Thing 1 Thing 2 Party

Well this month is Dr. Seuss month as well as my daughter Lilli's and niece Aubrey's b-day.  My daughter has always loved Dr. Seuss books, and now enjoys the cartoon from time to time, as well as Dr. Seuss movies such as Horton Hears a Who.  So, I thought what better theme for a b-day bash than to throw a Thing 1 and Thing 2 B-day. You see we have a joint party usually with my niece b/c their b-days are so close together, this makes it easier on family traveling, and whats more fun then celebrating 1 b-day is celebrating 2 b-days!  Here are a few pics from our Thing 1 Thing 2 party.  Some of you from FB have asked where do I find my ideas or where did I get my party decor.  A lot of the ideas came from blog searching online, I have posted some of my fav party blogs under Blogs I like.  I also typed in google Thing 1 and Thing 2 Party blogs and I found even more pictures. A dear friend of mine also shared some great ideas with me, so I can't take all the credit :)  The supplies I mostly found at Hobby Lobby (which by the way the cashiers now know my name there b/c I shop there at least once a week...I know my husband probable prefers our next house not to be so close to a HL, ha ha).  Anyways, I hope you enjoy the party pictures, we sure had a blast. I definitely suggest this party theme for a boy or girl.  There really are endless ideas with this theme and it is so whimsical and FUN,  I certainly felt like a kid again and I saw it brought that out in other adults as well.  As for the Dr. Seuss attire, well of course you can order that from The Lillipad.

Great Baby Shower idea!

I thought this was a great baby shower gift, I know I would have loved to have gotten this.  Its a Bib Bundle, included is 10 bibs for every occasion/season throughout the year.  Examples: Christmas, Valentines
Day, St. Patty's Day..you get the point.  Keep this in mind for your next shower and wow the mom to be!  This customer sent all the bibs to me to save some $, she ordered them from Babies R Us...so you can provide them or I can provide them either way is fine.

Welcome

Welcome to The Lillipad blog.  So I am finally getting around to keeping up with the times and have decided to start sharing my ideas over blogging.  I hope to post on a weekly basis not only with my own ideas/work but other ideas I come across as well.  Thank you for taking the time to take a peek from time to time.
